The recruitment drive offers opportunities for professionals from engineering, law, medicine, archaeology, aviation, and other specialised fields, with the application window remaining open until July 17, 2026.
The vacancies are spread across key ministries, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Ministry of AYUSH, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Defence, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The recruitment aims to strengthen staffing in technical, administrative, legal, and healthcare roles across the Central Government.
Among the prominent positions advertised are Joint Director, Aeronautical Officer, Legal Officer, Company Prosecutor, Deputy Superintending Archaeologist, Photographic Officer, Security Officer, and several Specialist Medical Officer posts in different disciplines.
The eligibility criteria vary depending on the position. Applicants must possess relevant educational qualifications such as engineering degrees, law degrees, postgraduate medical specialisations, or other discipline-specific qualifications. Several posts also require prior professional experience. The upper age limit ranges between 30 and 45 years, with age relaxations available for candidates belonging to reserved categories and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in accordance with government rules.
Selected candidates will be appointed under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay structure, with salary levels ranging from Pay Level 7 to Pay Level 11. Certain medical positions will also include a Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) as per applicable norms.
Candidates can submit their applications through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal after completing the required registration, uploading supporting documents in the prescribed format, and paying the applicable application fee, where required.
UPSC has advised applicants to complete the registration process well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues caused by heavy website traffic. Candidates are also encouraged to carefully read the official notification to verify post-specific eligibility conditions, required documents, and selection procedures before submitting their applications.
The recruitment drive is expected to help fill critical vacancies across multiple ministries, bringing specialised expertise to support governance, public service delivery, healthcare, infrastructure, and regulatory functions.
