Who Can Apply?

Applicants must satisfy one of the following conditions:

  • Be on track to complete their first bachelor's degree by August 2027.

  • Have completed their bachelor's degree within the last five years.

  • Have earned their bachelor's degree more than five years ago but be 30 years of age or younger in 2026.

Candidates must also meet the admission requirements of their chosen McGill University programme.

English Language Requirements

Applicants may need to submit proof of English proficiency unless exempt.

Accepted test scores include:

  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 86, with at least 20 in each section.

  • IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5 or higher.

Proof of English proficiency is generally not required if applicants:

  • Have English as their first language.

  • Hold or are completing an undergraduate degree from Canada or the United States.

  • Have studied or worked for at least four consecutive years in an English-speaking country.

  • Have completed a degree where English was the primary language of instruction.
