The EdInBox Regional Higher Education Summit 2026 concluded successfully on Friday at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. The event brought together education experts, university representatives, school leaders, policymakers, and a large number of students. It served as a key platform for discussions on higher education, skill development, and stronger industry–academia collaboration.
The summit was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Kumar, Director of Forensic Science Laboratories. Other dignitaries included Dr. A.K. Srivastava, Deputy Director of FSL Lucknow; Dr. T.P. Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor of Chandigarh University; Prof. Ujjwal K. Chaudhary, Pro Vice Chancellor of Techno India University and Editorial Advisor at EdInBox Communications; and Prof. (Dr.) Deepti Shukla, Principal of Samarpan Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Lucknow.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Adarsh Kumar said education can no longer remain confined to theory. He stressed that practical skills, research orientation, and a scientific mindset are now essential for students. He highlighted forensic science as a rapidly emerging career option full of opportunities.
Forensic science was a major attraction at this year’s summit. Experts simplified complex techniques like DNA profiling, digital forensics, toxicology, and fingerprint analysis for students. The sessions aimed to show how science directly supports law, security, and justice.
Various panels also covered artificial intelligence, the New Education Policy, creative careers, and skill-based education. Initiatives such as the Regional Principals Meet, Academic Leadership Dialogue, and School–University Connect strengthened communication between different education stakeholders. Students benefited from direct career counseling and interactive sessions with experts.
Educators were also recognized during the event. The ‘Principal Award of Honour’ was presented to distinguished academicians for their contributions to the education sector.
Organizers expressed confidence that platforms like EdInBox play a vital role in guiding students, connecting them to new opportunities, and aligning the education system with current needs. The summit reinforced one core message: future-ready education must combine knowledge with practical skill, research, and scientific temper.
