JECRC University Hosts Curtain Raiser for Historic 78th Army Day Parade in Jaipur, Announces Defence Aspirants Initiative

JECRC University hosted a Curtain Raiser Ceremony of the 78th Army Day Parade. The occasion was a historic event because Jaipur is all set to host the premier military celebration in India during January 15, 2026. The ritual put Rajasthan squarely on the national defence map and demonstrated the cutting edge of the capabilities of the Indian Army, including weapon systems of Operation Sindoor.

The prestigious ceremony at JECRC University campus was graced by Honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, who emphasized the parade's national significance and Rajasthan's proud martial heritage. Senior Army leadership, including Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, AVSM, YSM, VSM and Major General Amar Ram Dasani, highlighted the Indian Army's evolution into a tech-driven, future-ready force rooted in courage, discipline, and sacrifice.

JECRC University Launches Dedicated Defence Aspirants Initiative

As part of its nation-building mission, the university has declared a multifaceted programme beginning early 2026 to enable the youth of the state of Rajasthan  to take up the Indian Armed Forces as their careers.
