Graphic Era University to Hold 13th Convocation Ceremony on May 25; Union Minister Pralhad Joshi to Attend as Chief Guest

Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, is all set to mark a big academic milestone, because it will organise its 13th Convocation Ceremony on May 25, 2026 . This is to honour the students from the 2025 graduating batch, and well, it feels like a real turning point.

The whole ceremony is planned at the university’s Silver Jubilee Convention Centre. It is expected to gather graduating students along with their parents, faculty members, university officials, and other distinguished guests too, basically everyone connected, for a day focused on academic achievement and fresh starts that everyone can feel.

To make the occasion even more meaningful, Shri Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Consumer Affairs, and Food & Public Distribution, Government of India, will attend as the Chief Guest. The university has said, this presence adds extra weight to the moment.

As per the university, the convocation will highlight the academic achievements of students who have completed their programmes successfully, and who are now getting ready for the next step. That next phase, of course, is both professional and personal, not just one side.

University officials also mentioned that the Union Minister’s presence is likely to motivate the graduates as they move towards new opportunities , responsibilities, and the kinds of challenges that come with them. Shri Pralhad Joshi, they noted, has contributed significantly in different national initiatives and policy matters, especially around renewable energy, plus public administration.
