Alliance University to Host Webinar on CMA (US) Pathway for Students After Grade 12

Picking the right career path after Grade 12 can feel like a bit of a maze for a lot of students, especially if they are leaning toward finance, accounting, and more global type business roles. To make things less confusing, Alliance University is set to host a webinar called “CMA (US) After Grade 12: Pathway to Global Finance” on 30 May 2026 at 6:00 PM, and yes it’s online.

The session is meant to give students a clearer view of what the Certified Management Accountant (CMA US) qualification actually is, plus how it fits into the wider global finance world. It will go over what the programme looks like, what abilities it sharpens, and what kinds of career options it can open up for people who want to work in finance. Basically it’s not just theory talk, more like a practical picture of the route ahead.

Alliance University also says this webinar is especially for students who might be thinking about careers in accounting, finance, management, and business strategy, but want to understand how internationally recognised professional credentials can sit alongside, or even support their academic journey. In other words, it’s about aligning the “book learning” with something more industry-ready.

The webinar will be hosted by Madan MG, Finance and Accounting Educator and Academic Collaborator at Miles Education. In the session, attendees will hear about the CMA (US) curriculum, where it’s used in the finance sector, and how the qualification helps strengthen analytical thinking, financial management, and strategic decision making.  

And since companies keep expanding across borders, the need for finance people with worldwide know-how keeps rising. So it’s common for students and working professionals to pursue CMA (US) for more specialized expertise like management accounting, financial planning, performance oversight, and business analysis.
