RNTU to Host Bhopal's First Stadium Night Run on June 6

RNTU is hosting Bhopal’s first-ever stadium night running event called Velocity Night Run 2026 on June 6. The officials have unveiled the official T-shirt, as well as the finisher medal which will be awarded to the runners who will reach the end of the run before the event, thus making the event more exciting in what is being termed as Bhopal's first stadium night run.

About the Event 

On the World Environment Day, this exclusive event will commence featuring an expo and a unique fitness run in the stadium with lights on the next day, where fitness enthusiasts, passionate runners, and the local public will come together for the occasion.

The Velocity Night Run Expo will be on June 5 at Bansal Plaza, Bhopal, where participants can collect their race kits, interact with fitness experts, and explore partner exhibits ahead of race day. Scheduled from 2 PM to 7 PM, the expo is expected to serve as a gathering point for the city's running community while helping participants prepare for the event. 

Whether registered for the 1-hour, 2-hour, or 3-hour run category, attendees will have an opportunity to complete pre-race formalities and immerse themselves in the atmosphere before Bhopal's first stadium night run gets underway. 

Bhopal's First Stadium Night Run

The Velocity Night Run 2026 is a unique experience for runners, as it will be held in the TT Nagar Stadium, which is illuminated for the event.This Night Run is set to be an extraordinary experience for the runners.

According to the RNTU university, it aims to be a fitness, community and celebration event, as opposed to a traditional running event, which takes place during the day.
