Shri Khushal Das University (SKDU) in association with UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), Central University of Gujarat, has announced the 50th Online NEP 2020 Orientation and Sensitization Programme to enhance the awareness of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 among the academic community.

This programme will run from July 21 to July 29, 2026, and will be fully online, allowing educators and researchers from all over the country to attend easily.

The programme will be a faculty development programme and will have expert led sessions on the key principles, reforms and implementation strategies as mentioned in the National Education Policy 2020. The participants will understand the policy framework that is transforming the higher education landscape of India by providing multidisciplinary learning, academic flexibility, promoting research, fostering innovation and outcome-based education.

It is designed for faculty members, researchers, academic administrators and higher education professionals who want to gain a deeper understanding of the changing education landscape and its implications for teaching and learning and institutional development.

One of the key highlights of the initiative is that participation is completely free of cost. The programme will also award a certificate of completion to those who are eligible and successfully complete the programme.

The organisers say the orientation programme seeks to inspire thought on the transformation of higher education in India and to provide teachers with the knowledge to effectively bring the recommendations of NEP 2020 to life in their institutions.

Such orientation and sensitization programmes are crucial in preparing educators for the new education landscape as universities and colleges all over the country continue to realign their academic structures to meet the objective of NEP 2020.

Those who are interested can register via the official links provided by the organisers. It is hoped that the programme will attract faculty members and academic professionals from different fields to join in the learning process and sharing of knowledge on one of the most important education reforms in recent years.
