The Faculty of Law at Parul University hosted Law Conclave 2026 in New Delhi, bringing together legal experts and technology professionals to discuss the evolving relationship between technology, justice, and democratic values.

The theme for the conclave was "Data, Democracy & the Rule of Law: Legal Challenges in the Digital Era," highlighting the legal dimensions of the challenges arising out of the swift technological developments and the importance of ensuring innovation and respecting rights.

The event included panel discussions with legal luminaries and technology experts who discussed how artificial intelligence is changing the legal profession, the importance of safeguarding intellectual property, and the issues surrounding corporate surveillance and freedom of individuals.

The debates also covered the nature of modern "dispute resolution" and "constitutional accountability" in the digital age. Discussions were held on the evolving legal environment and the importance of having mechanisms that remain effective to protect human rights as technology evolves.

The organisers said the conclave aimed to facilitate a discussion on "the need for a continued dialogue on the role of digital technologies in the era of justice, democracy and human rights".

The University stated that programs like Law Conclave 2026 are still influencing the future of the law, as they explore the emerging dynamics between technology and justice in a world that is becoming increasingly digital.
