RNTU to Host National Seminar on Contemporary Hindi Journalism to Mark 200 Years of Hindi Journalism

Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) is hosting a three-day national seminar on "Samkaleen Hindi Patrakarita: Parampara, Parivartan Aur Bhavishya" (Contemporary Hindi Journalism: Tradition, Change and Future) from 9th to 11th July 2026. The seminar is being organised to commemorate the 200 years of Hindi journalism.

The programme will be organised at RNTU and will include the participation of renowned personalities from all over the country who will discuss various aspects of modern day Hindi journalism.

The seminar will start from 9th July with the book launch of "Swabhiman Ke Naam". The first session will be held on 10th July followed by discussions on different aspects of literature, Hindi journalism and science journalism.

Noted personalities like Suresh Pachouri, Priyavrat, Kripashankar Chaubey, Neelesh and Devendra Pandey will be present in various sessions of the seminar, the organisers said.

The last day of the event, July 11, will be devoted to the theme of journalism in literature, art and intellectual discourse. The programme will also feature discussions on issues pertaining to Hindi journalism.

The three-day seminar is designed to give a platform to the experts to discuss the tradition, transformation and future of Hindi journalism, which is celebrating two centuries of Hindi journalism.
