AJK Group of Institutions to Host Open 5's Football Tournament for Men in Coimbatore on July 25

AJK Group of Institutions has announced the Open 5's Football Tournament for Men, inviting football enthusiasts to compete in a one-day tournament at AJK Turf 5's, Navakkarai, Coimbatore, on July 25, 2026. The event will feature cash prizes, trophies and participation from teams across the region.

Organised by the Department of Physical Education, the tournament aims to bring together amateur football players to showcase their skills, teamwork and sportsmanship in a competitive five-a-side format.

Cash Prizes Worth ₹22,000 Up for Grabs

The tournament offers a total prize pool of ₹22,000, with awards for the top three teams:

• Match Duration: 8–8 minutes
• Reporting Time: Teams must report 30 minutes before their scheduled match.

According to the organisers, any misconduct by players or teams may result in disqualification, and all decisions taken by the officials during the tournament will be final.
