Shoolini University Powers TEDx Sukhna Lake 2026 as ‘Age of Possibilities’ Takes Centre Stage

Shoolini University partnered with TEDx Sukhna Lake 2026 as the Powered-by Partner, bringing its research, patented technologies, startups and student innovations to the second edition of the event held at Tagore Theatre in Chandigarh on August 26. With the theme ‘The Age of Possibilities', the event featured over 15 speakers from India and abroad on technology, business, healthcare, finance, governance, entrepreneurship and social change.

Speakers and professionals from organisations such as OpenAI, Google, Meta, Visa and Snapchat were gathered to give attendees a view of technology, business and beyond. Among the speakers was Anchit Nishant, Solutions Architect at OpenAI, who spoke about artificial intelligence and its growing real-world applications. Also in the speaker line-up were Ankit Sharma, Country Lead – Ads Solutions, Google India and Raveesh Bhatnagar, who leads the financial services and real estate vertical in India for Meta.

The association, as described on the Shoolini University website, has a focus to connect education, research, innovation and skills with ideas that shape the future.

TEDx Sukhna Lake 2026, themed ‘The Age of Possibilities', was organized in a format where TEDTalks posed questions about the future of possibilities in various sectors with emerging ideas and technologies. According to the official TEDx listing, the TEDx is an independently organized TED event dedicated to connecting thought leaders and change-makers to share their ideas and experience.

Other speakers included senior leaders in finance, governance, healthcare, defence, real estate and entrepreneurship. The official website of the event has over 20 speakers such as Visa, Snapchat, Google India, Meta India, and OpenAI.

The TEDx Sukhna Lake collaboration allowed Shoolini University to bring its research and student innovation to the forefront of the TEDx community, beyond the confines of the university campus, and into the company of discussions on the emerging technology, entrepreneurship and social change themes. The theme of the event was in line with the University's emphasis on research, innovation and opportunities for students, said the university.

In the second edition of TEDx Sukhna Lake 2026, over 800 people are expected to attend the event at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh. Encompassing Academic, Corporate and Entrepreneurial viewpoints, the event focused on the major thematic fields of technology, AI, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, while presenting a space for learning, sharing and discussing the future possibilities.
