Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU), Jaipur secured the 3rd position in Rajasthan in the Virtual Labs initiative of IIT Delhi. This ranking, declared under the Ministry of Education's National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT), highlights SGVU's commitment to technology-driven education and innovative education ensuring its students get the best opportunities to learn and grow.
The project Virtual Labs enables practical learning access by the students around the country by means of remote access to the laboratory experiments. The ICT-Enabled Teaching and Learning Programme is a part of the 20 Point Mission because SGVU has been at the forefront in incorporating all these high-digital technologies. The programme also focuses on experiential learning and digital pedagogy for Industry 4.0 skills that will equip students to face the challenges ahead.
On 9 October, 2025, SGVU hosted a successful Virtual Labs workshop, with live demonstrations and interactive activities of the experts of IIT Delhi. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the faculty members, students, and the education specialists as they explored the transformative potential of virtual laboratories in the education of engineering and applied sciences.
In conclusion, this national-level award earned in the Virtual Labs initiative of IIT Delhi once again confirms the willingness for technology-driven education at SGVU, focus on practical learning, and contribute to the vision of the Government of India regarding the inclusive provision of digital education.
