Recently, Avantika University hosted the 5th Convocation Ceremony marking a momentous occasion. SAMAHVAN 2025 - 5th Convocation Ceremony, was an event of joy and encouragement that featured a virtual inauguration of the murti (idol) of Vagdevi ji by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, setting a spiritual tone for the graduating class of innovators and professionals. 

Distinguished Guests at this Historical Milestone

The ceremony brought together visionaries who are shaping India's education ecosystem:

  1. Chief Guest: Dr Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh - He virtually inaugurated the sacred Vagdevi ji Murti, the symbol of knowledge and wisdom on Avantika's campus.
  2. Guest of Honour: Srimathi Shivashankar, Corporate Vice President & Global Business Head, HCLTech EdTech - She shared insights on the role of technology in driving learning.
  3. Special Guest: Prof Khem Singh Daheriya, Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission (MPPURC) - He stressed on the importance of regulatory excellence in higher education.

Other prominent guests included Padma Shri awardee and Chancellor, Dr Sanjay Dhande, and Vice Chancellor Dr Nitin Rane, who graced the dais to congratulate the graduates on their journey from design thinkers to industry-ready professionals.

SAMAHVAN 2025: Empowering the Next Generation of Indian Innovators

UG / PG graduates from Avantika's School of Design, Engineering, Management and Liberal Arts were awarded their degrees during the cultural show, student testimonial and awards for research excellence. The convocation focused on Avantika's commitment to design-led education aligned towards NEP 2020, fostering skills in AI, sustainability and creative problem-solving.

Chancellor Dr Sanjay Dhande highlighted how a vision has grown into a thriving academic institution with over 1,600 students from across India, earning national and international recognition. He also emphasised the university’s guiding principle of collaboration over competition, which continues to define its academic culture. Degrees awarded included BDes, BTech and MBA with gold medals for the top performers in sustainable design and digital innovation.
