Mody University Organises Grand Founders Day Celebration 2026 in Presence of Maithili Thakur

Mody University of Science and Technology made headlines this week by combining community service with spectacular campus festivities. The Department of Applied and Clinical Psychology ran a special programme at Asha Ka Jharna Special School, while FDC 2026 (Jan 22-26) earned wide media praise.  The soulful rendition by the renowned vocalist, Maithili Thakur, set a spiritually beautiful tone for the five-day extravaganza that attracted wide media praise and displayed the commitment of the university towards holistic education.

FDC 2026: 5 Days Highlights

Mody University's Founders Day Celebration 2026 turned Lakshmangarh campus into a cultural extravaganza, which received rave reviews from media houses. The 5-day event (Jan 22-26) featured:

Before the main celebrations, Mody University's psychology students did a kind activity at Asha Ka Jharna Special School. They helped 55 children with special needs like autism and cerebral palsy. The students ran sessions on feeling good inside, making friends, and daily life skills. The university says education works best when it helps the community and connects class lessons with real life.

Maithili Thakur's opening bhajan performance on the 22nd immediately created the spiritual atmosphere, earning applause from students, faculty and guests. The event then proceeded into a colourful blend of activities such as design and art exhibits, ethnic village with food stalls, cultural performances, intellectual talk sessions, convocation and valedictory ceremonies, sports day, prize distribution, a musical evening, fireworks display, DJ night and a patriotic celebration of the Republic Day. FDC 2026 became nothing short of iconic, making headlines that celebrated the hard work of Mody's students and dedicated faculty.
