Parul University,Vadodara has made headlines by winning at the prestigious 39th Inter-University National Youth Festival 2025-26 organised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university won the 1st runners-up position overall with brilliant performances in categories such as music, cultural procession, theatre and dance.

Event Overview

The AIU Inter-University National Youth Festival or UNIFEST as it is known, brings together students of the top universities in India to celebrate cultural talents since 1985. This 39th edition for 2025-26 was conducted in zonal rounds with the West Zone seeing Parul University winning the overall title for the third consecutive year.

Key 39th AIU Youth Festival Results (2025-26 Season):

  • North Zone (Chitkara University, Punjab):

    • Overall Champion: Chandigarh University.
    • Winning Highlights:
      Chandigarh University won overall titles in Music, Literary, and Fine Arts.
  • North East Zone (Assam Don_Bosco_University):

    • Winners: USTM won Light Indian Vocal Solo and Western Vocal Solo.
    • 1st Runners-Up: USTM Classical Vocal Solo.

Parul University's journey is a reflection of good preparation after dominating the West Zone with victories in the fields of music (classical vocal solo, group songs), fine arts (painting, poster making), dance (folk), etc.

This follows up on their hat-trick from the West Zone, with 1st in music in the categories such as classical instrumental and folk orchestra; 2nd in classical dance, mimicry; and 3rd in choreography. Such all-round prowess qualified them for nationals, as a proof of consistent excellence.
