Jaipur National University has announced Rajasthan’s first AI-enabled campus, bringing artificial intelligence into classrooms, campus systems, and everyday student life.

The university says the idea behind the initiative is simple: students should not only study technology, but experience it as part of their learning journey. With industries changing rapidly due to artificial intelligence, universities are under growing pressure to prepare students for a more digital and skill-focused future.

At Jaipur National University, AI is now being used across different parts of the campus. Students are given AI-tailored learning content based on their learning pace and style. The system can also provide real-time feedback and help identify areas where students may need extra support.

The university has also introduced smart classrooms with AI-based tools that allow teachers to create and manage content more easily through the learning management system. Alongside this, workshops and innovation challenges are being organised to help students build practical and future-ready skills.

One of the biggest attractions of the campus is its 3D holographic learning experience. Through holographic displays, students can interact with visual models designed to make concepts easier to understand. The university believes this can improve classroom engagement and help students learn in a more practical way.

Artificial intelligence is also being used outside classrooms. The campus includes an AI-powered attendance system, a smart library experience for finding books and journals more easily, and AI-supported dining services that allow students to browse menus, place orders, and make payments digitally.

The university has also introduced AI companions to support academic work such as literature reviews, research assistance, and plagiarism detection. Campus safety systems are being monitored through real-time AI technology as well.

As interest in AI education continues to rise across India, many universities are beginning to rethink how learning spaces should function. Students today are increasingly looking for campuses that offer both academic learning and hands-on exposure to emerging technologies.

With its “Think Beyond” vision, Jaipur National University is aiming to create a campus environment where technology becomes part of everyday learning rather than just a classroom subject.
