Assam down town University celebrated International Nurses Day through a special programme organised by its Faculty of Nursing under the global theme, “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.”

The event highlighted the critical role nurses play in strengthening healthcare systems and delivering compassionate patient care while also recognising the contribution of nursing students towards society and emergency healthcare support.

The programme commenced with the unveiling of the theme by Prof. (Dr.) Manashi Sengupta, Dean, Faculty of Nursing at Assam downtown University.
