Starex University, Gurugram has signed a Letter of Engagement between its School of Hospitality Management (SOHM) and ITC Grand Bharat, Gurugram, marking a step towards strengthening industry-academia collaboration in hospitality education.
The partnership seeks to offer students deeper industry exposure through connecting theory and practice through the hospitality industry.
The partnership will provide the students of the School of Hospitality Management with real-time learning, internship opportunities, skill building programs, and career paths with ITC Grand Bharat – one of the luxury hotel chains in India.
The association will give students practical experience in the industry and provide an opportunity to develop their professional skills and prepare for jobs in hospitality management, the university said.
The partnership is part of the university's efforts to further promote the experiential teaching approach and bridge the gap between the academic and hotel worlds, the university said.
Starex University added that through this Letter of Engagement, both institutions will work together to support the development of future hospitality professionals by promoting innovation, practical learning and academic excellence.
