Sandip University celebrated the birthday of Hon'ble Chairman Dr. Sandip N. Jha with various health and student engagement activities to promote health, community service and campus participation.
The programme included a free eye check-up camp, blood pressure screening, and blood sugar screening, promoting awareness of health care among the members of the University community.
To mark the occasion, the University also held a Reel Making Competition with the theme "SUN Campus Life", giving the students an opportunity to express their creativity and share their campus experiences.
The initiative was organized by the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPS) in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, Department of Student Welfare (DSW) and Asoka Medicover Hospital, Nashik.
The event aimed to merge the celebration of the Chairman's birthday with activities that raise awareness about healthcare, social responsibility and active student participation, the University said.
The University said the celebration reflected its commitment to building a healthier campus community while encouraging student engagement through service-oriented and creative initiatives.
