Bennett University to Host Women Leaders Forum on Workplace Readiness and Leadership Skills

The Career Services Centre at Bennett University is hosting “Leadership Beyond Boundaries”, a Women Leaders Forum to promote discussions on leadership, workplace readiness and changing role of women in professional settings. The event will be held on 5 June 2026 at the Bennett University campus in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

There will be a special session at the forum titled “The Invisible Curriculum: What Industry Expects but No One Teaches Women” which will highlight the practical skills, workplace expectations and leadership qualities that are not taught in the classroom.

The university says the programme has been conceived as a platform to inspire the young women professionals with industry knowledge, meaningful discussions and exposure to real life career scenarios.

The session will focus on the following themes:

• Leadership development,
• Professional confidence,
• Workplace communication,
• Career preparedness,
• Critical thinking that shapes career

With the growing importance of soft skills, adaptability and leadership qualities in the workplace, universities in India are making a concerted effort to equip students with the skills needed to face the challenges of the real world.

The Women Leaders Forum is designed to inspire students to consider careers beyond the traditional scope and to develop the confidence to thrive in today's workplace, Bennett University said.

The event also marks a wider trend in higher education to move away from traditional lectures and towards mentorship-based learning, and industry engagement and conversations about gender representation in leadership.

As more and more discussion is happening about women in leadership, workplace equity and professional inclusion, events such as these are becoming more significant in the education of students about the realities of today's careers and expectations of leadership.
