International students seeking fully funded postgraduate education abroad have a major opportunity with the opening of applications for the GCUB Brazil International Mobility Scholarship 2027. The scholarship program, coordinated by the Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB), offers more than 880 Master's and PhD scholarships across 68 participating universities in Brazil.

The initiative aims to strengthen international academic cooperation and promote research, innovation, and cultural exchange by attracting talented students from around the world. The scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities, except Brazilian citizens, and covers a wide range of academic disciplines.

Under the program, selected candidates will receive significant financial support, including exemption from enrollment, tuition, and academic fees, as well as a monthly stipend to assist with living expenses. Students will also have access to university restaurants, libraries, laboratories, and other academic facilities. Importantly, there is no application fee for the scholarship.

The program offers Master's degrees with a duration of 24 months and PhD programs lasting up to 48 months. Fields of study include Engineering and Technology, Natural Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Education, Agriculture, Environmental Studies, Business and Economics, and Humanities.

Applicants may apply for up to five Master's or Doctoral programs at different universities, increasing their chances of selection. Applications can be submitted in English, Portuguese, French, or Spanish.

To be eligible, candidates must possess the academic qualifications required for their chosen program, meet the admission requirements of the host institution, and demonstrate strong academic performance. Applicants are expected to show an interest in research, innovation, and international collaboration

Required documents include an identification document, curriculum vitae, academic diplomas, essays outlining academic goals and research interests, and other supporting documents specified by the program.

While the scholarship covers most academic expenses, applicants should note that airfare, visa costs, and health insurance are not included.
