RIMT University has announced the launch of the AWS Student Builders Group (SBG), a student-led initiative established under the university's Department of Research, Innovation & Incubation (RIMT DRI) in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The initiative aims to create a vibrant cloud technology ecosystem on campus by providing students with opportunities to learn emerging technologies, participate in technical events, develop industry-relevant skills, and engage with the growing field of cloud computing.

As part of the launch, RIMT University introduced the founding leadership team that will guide the activities of the AWS Student Builders Group. Pranav Bansal, a B.Tech CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) student, has been appointed as the Group Leader. The team also includes Aditya Kumar as Technical Head, Rinku Bhalotiya as Event Head, Amisha as Marketing Head, Amber Prashar as Treasurer, and Rohan Verma as Director of Photography.

According to the university, the AWS Student Builders Group will serve as a platform for students interested in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, DevOps, and other emerging technologies. Through workshops, technical sessions, networking opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences, the group will help students enhance their practical skills and industry readiness.

The initiative reflects RIMT University's continued focus on fostering innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven learning. By partnering with global technology ecosystems such as AWS, the university aims to provide students with exposure to industry trends and future-ready competencies.

University officials extended their congratulations to the founding team and expressed confidence that the group will play an important role in encouraging student leadership, collaboration, and innovation across disciplines.

With cloud computing becoming a critical component of modern digital infrastructure, the launch of the AWS Student Builders Group marks another step towards strengthening technology education and creating new learning opportunities for students at RIMT University.

The university has encouraged students to stay connected with the AWS Student Builders Group for upcoming events, workshops, and skill-development opportunities focused on cloud technologies and innovation.
