Central Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Registration Opens for 4,500 Posts

The Central Bank of India has commenced the online registration process for the recruitment of 4,500 Apprentice posts across the country. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website before the deadline of June 22, 2026.

According to the official notification, the application process began on June 12, 2026, and candidates will be selected through an online examination followed by a local language proficiency test. The online examination is expected to be conducted in the first week of July 2026.

To be eligible for the apprenticeship programme, applicants must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or hold an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of India. Candidates should be between 20 and 28 years of age. Applicants must have been born not earlier than May 31, 1998, and not later than May 31, 2006, with both dates inclusive.

The selection process will be carried out by BFSI SSC and will consist of an online test and a test of the local language of the respective state. The online examination will include 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. Candidates will be given 60 minutes to complete the test.

The bank has also announced the application fee structure for various categories. General, EWS and OBC male candidates are required to pay ₹944, while female candidates from these categories will pay ₹708. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD and transgender categories will have to pay ₹236 as application and intimation charges.

The bank has clarified that the application fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances and cannot be adjusted against any future recruitment process.

Candidates aspiring to begin a career in the banking sector are advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline and carefully review the eligibility criteria and instructions provided in the official notification.
