Jodhamal Public School Wins Bronze at CBSE Cluster XVIII Under-17 Basketball Tournament

Jodhamal Public School, Jammu, has added another sporting achievement to its record by winning the bronze medal at the CBSE Cluster XVIII Under-17 Boys Basketball Tournament 2026-27, held at Montessori Cambridge School, Pathankot.

The prestigious inter-school championship brought together more than 40 teams from Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh, making it one of the most competitive CBSE regional basketball tournaments of the season.

Dominant performances throughout the tournament

Jodhamal Public School began its campaign with an emphatic 18-2 victory over SDSPD, Rayya (Amritsar), setting the tone for the tournament.

The team followed it up with a thrilling 37-36 win against Partap World School, Pathankot, before registering a convincing 26-3 victory over DCM Young Entrepreneurs School, Ludhiana.

In another strong outing, the Jammu-based school defeated Bhawan Public School by 28-17, showcasing disciplined defence and coordinated team play.

Maintaining consistency across all its matches, Jodhamal accumulated an impressive overall points tally to secure the bronze medal in the highly competitive championship.
