Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) has introduced a two-year MSc in Interior and Space Design from the 2026-27 academic session, expanding its academic offerings in design education.
The programme will be offered under the Department of Family Resource Management in the School of Home Science and is designed to prepare students for careers in residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare and institutional interior design.

The newly launched postgraduate programme will admit 40 students in its first batch. The semester fee is Rs 20,000, making it a relatively affordable option for students seeking specialised education in interior and spatial design.

Admissions will primarily be conducted through CUET-PG. However, candidates who have not appeared for the entrance examination may also be considered if seats remain vacant, in accordance with the university's admission guidelines.
