About the School

Named after Ms. Emma Thompson, eminent Manager of Lalbagh Girls College, the school was opened on July 17, 1979 with Bishop J.R. Lance as chairman. Starting with six students in Nazirabad, it was developed from a Normal School to a high class institution for girls. Co-ed till Class V, turns into girls-only from Class VI and provides Humanities, Commerce and Science streams to ISC Class XII.
