Padma Shri Dr. Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil, one of the most esteemed educationists, philanthropists and former Governors of Bihar, Tripura and West Bengal, passed away in the wake of a prolonged illness at his residence in Kasba Bawda, Kolhapur on Tuesday. He was 90.
