Aspiring undergraduate students who took the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) in May can expect some relief soon. According to National Testing Agency (NTA) sources, results are likely to be declared by July 10th. This comes after a previous tentative date of June 30th passed without announcement.

Starting July 1, the fee will increase from AUD 710 ($473) to AUD 1,600 ($1,068). The Assam government has expanded its fee waiver scheme for college admissions. Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced on July 1 that the eligibility criteria for free admissions had been revised this year. Previously, students from families with an annual parental income of up to Rs 2 lakh were eligible. This limit has now been raised to Rs 4 lakh.
