Centurion University Hosts CoinEx Wallet 101 Workshop, Announces 24/7 Web3 Innovation Lab for Students

The Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Bhubaneswar organized a successful interactive session titled "CoinEx Wallet 101: Understanding Blockchain & Crypto" in collaboration with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) to introduce students to the basics of blockchain and the newer Web3 technologies.

The session allowed the students to learn about the significant concepts like blockchain, cryptocurrency, crypto wallets, decentralized finance (DeFi), and the opportunities in the Web3 world. Students keen on becoming future builders, developers, and innovators in the blockchain space enthusiastically participated in the event.

One of the highlights of the programme was the introduction of the forthcoming CoinEx Web3 Lab, a 24/7 co-working and innovation space to be built at Centurion University. The space will be used for students to work on projects, engage in group work, and try out Web3 technologies.

The university welcomed CoinEx for its cooperation with the university and for its promotion of the University's vision of promoting the blockchain ecosystem on campus. It also thanked CoinEdition, Odisha DAO, and 2:47PM Studio for their contribution towards making the event successful.

The workshop is part of a larger effort to raise awareness of blockchain education at the university, according to the organisers. The initiatives continue to increase with more workshops, hackathons, and builder programmes being planned in the upcoming months to foster innovation and practical application in the Web3 space.
