VGU NSS Volunteers Felicitated at Raj Bhavan Jaipur for Service and Leadership

The NSS volunteers of Vivekananda Global University (VGU) were honored at Raj Bhavan, Jaipur, for their service to the nation, marking a moment of pride and honour for the university. The felicitation was held in the presence of Hon'ble Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Haribhau Bagde Ji.

Two VGU NSS volunteers were recognised on the occasion— Lalit Tiwari, M.Sc., recipient of the Presidential NSS / My Bharat Award from the Hon’ble President of India, and Sachin Choudhary, MCA, who represented Rajasthan at the Republic Day Parade Camp 2026.

VGU Students Recognised for Their Achievements

VGU said Lalit Tiwari and Sachin Choudhary were given awards for their accomplishments and contributions. Lalit Tiwari was honoured as a recipient of the Presidential NSS / My Bharat Award by the Hon’ble President of India.

The university's NSS volunteers also achieved another feat by having Sachin Choudhary representing Rajasthan in the Republic Day Parade Camp 2026.

The university said that these feats are the outcome of the spirit of service, dedication and leadership developed under the guidance of Dr. Sudhir Verma, Coordinator of the NSS, VGU SOC Cell.

Felicitation Held at Raj Bhavan Jaipur

The dignitaries who attended the event were the well-known NSS volunteers of VGU and the esteemed NSS officials. The felicitation was a reminder of the values of the NSS motto “Not Me, But You”, the university said.

The event was a significant milestone for VGU, as it celebrated the accomplishments and contributions of its NSS volunteers.
