Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) Successfully Hosts Enterprize & Innovate 2025

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), recognized as an Institution of Eminence, proudly announced the successful completion of the 4th edition of Enterprize & Innovate 2025. This three-day entrepreneurship festival was held from October 24 to 26, 2025, in a hybrid format that combined on-campus events at the MAHE campus and virtual participation. The event was organized by the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Committee (IEC) of the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), a constituent unit of MAHE.

Enterprize & Innovate 2025 attracted over 200 participants from across India, including students from both MAHE and non-MAHE institutions, spanning undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The fest provided a vibrant platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their business ideas, creativity, and strategic thinking through various engaging competitions and activities.

The inauguration took place at the KMC Interact Hall with notable guests such as Dr. Manesh Thomas, CEO of Manipal GoK Bioincubator, and Mr. S. Varadharajan, Deputy Director of Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO), MAHE. The event was led by the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Committee of MAHE’s Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), guided by Dr. Namdev Dhas and Dr. Vignesh M.

Dr. Srinivas Mutalik, Principal of MCOPS, said, “Enterprize & Innovate 2025 exemplifies MAHE’s mission to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among future pharmacists and healthcare leaders. We aim to bridge innovation with practical business skills, encouraging students to lead healthcare transformations through new ideas and solutions.”

The fest featured eight exciting competitions designed to test various elements of entrepreneurship such as business case solving, marketing strategies, debates, and pitching. These included:

  • Quiz (business and entrepreneurial knowledge)
  • Corporate Conundrum (business case study)
  • Word Dealers (debate on ethical and business issues)
  • Price is Right (market valuation challenge)
  • Pitch Tank (business idea presentation)
  • Brand Race (brand marketing competition)
  • Ad-Wit (creative advertising)
  • Logo Bingo (branding recognition game)

Prizes included a cash prize pool of Rs. 30,000, trophies, and pre-incubation support for the best ideas through the MAHE Bioincubator. Participants also received registration kits with useful items such as a notebook, pen, and certificates, with virtual participants receiving their kits via courier.

Supported by Dr. Mohammed Zubair, Chief Innovation Officer of MAHE, the event's success boosts MAHE’s mission of creating innovative, industry-ready healthcare entrepreneurs.
