Bennett University Signs MoU with Shriram Institute for Industrial Research to Boost Innovation and Translational Research

Shriram Institute for Industrial Research (SRI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bennett University to enhance the industry-academy partnership and promote translational research, innovation and technology commercialisation.

The partnership is designed to connect academic research with industry, with a view to developing opportunities for collaborative projects, industrial validation of research, creation of intellectual property (IP), student internships, and the development of sustainable technologies.

In this partnership, Bennett University and SRI will collaborate to encourage research that tackles practical industry problems and fosters innovative solutions that have commercial viability. The program is anticipated to offer students and researchers more opportunities to gain industry exposure and applied research.

The partnership will also prioritise building innovation ecosystems through joint research projects, technology transfer and commercialisation of research results. Both institutions aim to make a difference in the creation of impactful and sustainable technologies, with a focus on combining academic expertise with industrial experience.

The MoU underscores Bennett University's ongoing focus on industry relations and experiential learning to equip students for the changing careers in the technological and research-driven landscape.
