Cheran College of Pharmacy Organises Bentham Science Demo Session for 200+ Students

Cheran College of Pharmacy organised an E-Consortium Bentham Science Demo Session on August 10, 2026, at the Pharmacy Auditorium, CIHS Campus, bringing students and faculty closer to digital scientific resources and pharmaceutical research platforms. The session was attended by over 200 students, who were engaged in the discussion on enhancing the application of digital tools in academic learning and research.

The session was led by Mr. Kamalbabu B., Product Manager, Bentham Science Publishers, Chennai & TNMGRMU, who introduced participants to a range of scientific journals, pharmaceutical research resources and e-learning platforms. The demonstration gave students and faculty an overview of how such digital resources can be leveraged to gain access to academic and research material.

It was an effort to motivate students to use online scientific resources more effectively in their studies. Research journals and digital learning platforms are available to support students' learning in the pharmacy field, complementing classroom learning.

The Bentham Science Demo Session at Cheran College of Pharmacy brought together over 200 students to emphasize the increasing significance of digital tools in the field of Pharmacy education and research. The session also motivated the learners and faculty members to utilize the available scientific and e-learning platforms to the maximum extent for research, learning and academic growth.

The programme is in line with the institution's emphasis on building links with the world of science and increasing awareness of digital tools that can be used in the education and research of pharmaceutical sciences.
