IILM University Gurugram in collaboration with Banyan tree school Jaipur introduced AI winter school 2.0. This three-day programme is to be held from December 19 to December 21, 2025. This initiative is aimed at creating an interest among school students in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and the Internet of Things. The workshop is set to transform the state-of-the-art Robotics Lab of IILM to an interactive AI playground for classes 8 to 12.

The programme is accessible to both the beginners and advanced learners with live demonstrations, practical projects, inventive bouts, and conferences headed by industry scholars and academicians. Learners will be able to work in teams, acquire leadership skills, and develop problem-solving and future-ready skills in new technologies.

The Department of Civil Engineering at Aditya University successfully completed a four-day Industrial Training Programme on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Civil and Structural Engineering.” The programme was conducted on 15 November, 22 November, 29 November, and 06 December 2025, and provided participants with practical skills and field-ready knowledge about the transformative role of AI in the discipline.

Organised in partnership with ICI, Kakinada Centre, and ACCE (India),, the programme featured hands-on training sessions designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice. Across the four days, participants were introduced to AI applications in structural analysis, predictive modelling, and sustainable building design. The event concluded with a valedictory session on 06 December 2025, during which participants received certificates and shared feedback on the impact of the programme.

The Head of the Department (HoD), Dr. B. Ramamohana Reddy, provided continuous guidance and support throughout the initiative. Expert presentations by GITAM University resource persons, Dr. Yaswanth, Dr. T. Suman Kumar, and Dr. N. Sunil offered valuable insights into the latest AI technologies in the civil engineering domain. The programme was effectively coordinated by Programme Coordinator, Dr. Govindarajan, ensuring a highly engaging and structured learning experience.

With over 250 athletes converging from across Punjab, RIMT University successfully concluded a big sports event titled 60th Punjab State Cross Country Championship 2025. The championship was jointly organized with Punjab Athletics Association and Athletics Association, Fatehgarh Sahib. It was a display of top talent in athletics and youth sports. This event at RIMT University showed sports leadership and cross-country championship spirit in a simple, exciting way.

This championship had special guests like Shri Harvinder Singh, Padma Shri, and Arjuna Awardee and two-time Paralympic Medalist as Chief Guest. Others included Sardar Jiwanjot Singh Teja, Dronacharya Awardee and Director Sports Training; Ms. Sunita Rani, Padma Shri and Arjuna Awardee now Senior Superintendent of Police; and S. Sukhdev Singh Pannu, another Dronacharya Awardee. Shri Prem Singh from Punjab Athletics Association, S. Jagmeet Singh Shota from Athletics Association Fatehgarh Sahib, and S. Sukhdev Singh were there too, along with RIMT University leaders like Pro Chancellor Sardar Dr. B. S. Bhatia and Director Physical Education Dr. Parnam Singh Brar.

In the Men's 10 KM category, Simran Singh clinched Gold, Sukhwinder Singh from Jalandhar took Silver, and Rinke from Jalandhar won Bronze. These wins made the athletic scene of Punjab proud and proved the high level of youth sports in the events at RIMT. Championship 2025 ended as a grand success boosting sportsmanship among the young athletes.
