The NorthCap University celebrated National Technology Day 2026 through an All India Seminar which examined new and sustainable technologies under the theme 'Sustainable Intelligent Computing: Cloud | Quantum | Nano | Green | Sovereign Computing'.
The event took place in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and followed the National Technology Day 2026 theme 'Advanced Technologies for Atmanirbhar Bharat' which showcased how India advances towards self-reliance through innovative technological solutions.
The seminar was conducted through a partnership between The Institution of Engineers (India) Faridabad Local Centre and the Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation & Technology (HSCSIT), Directorate of Science & Technology, Government of Haryana.
The event brought together industry leaders, scientists, academicians, researchers, and students to discuss the future of intelligent and sustainable computing technologies, including cloud computing, quantum technologies, nano computing, green computing, and sovereign computing systems.
Charu Smita Malhotra attended the seminar as Chief Guest. Kalpana Johari and Kashish Bhagat delivered the keynote sessions which provided participants with information about technological innovation and intelligent systems and future data-driven research.
Your data training extends until the month of October in the year 2023. The program started with Er Inderdeep Oberoi and Prof Prem Vrat and Prof Dr Rita Chhikara delivering their opening speeches. The seminar presented technical paper presentations together with project demonstrations and poster competitions which motivated students and researchers to exhibit their novel concepts and research findings.
Institution of Engineers (India) dignitaries accompanied Prof Nupur Prakash and Dr Vandana Khanna and Dr Asha Sohal and Dr Yogita Gigras and Dr Anu Tonk who served as senior academic leaders at the event.
The seminar ended with a valedictory session which included an awards ceremony to honor achievements in research and innovation and technical presentations.
State Bank of India supported the event as co-sponsor, represented by Ms. Namrata Khurana, Deputy Manager, SBI.
The organisers designed the seminar to enable discussions about sustainable intelligent technologies which would help India achieve its technological self-reliance goal through the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission.
