APG Shimla University to Host 2-Day Forensic Science Immersive Experience with Crime Scene Simulation and State Forensic Lab Visit

APG Shimla University, in association with AIFSET, is set to host a two-day Forensic Science Immersive Experience on May 18 and 19, offering students practical exposure to crime investigation, forensic analysis, evidence examination, and real-world forensic science applications.

Designed especially for students interested in forensic science, criminal investigation, cybercrime, criminal psychology, and crime scene analysis, the programme aims to provide a hands-on learning experience beyond traditional classroom teaching.

Students to Experience Real Crime Scene Investigation Simulation

As part of the immersive programme, students will participate in:

• Crime Scene Investigation Simulation from 11:00 AM onwards 
• Examination of evidence at the Forensic Science Laboratory
• Report writing sessions after lunch
• Event summarisation and course presentation

Unlike regular career seminars, the programme focuses on practical exposure, allowing participants to understand how forensic experts actually analyse evidence and investigate cases.

Shimla Forensic Laboratory Visit Scheduled on May 19

One of the major highlights of the event is the scheduled visit to the State Forensic Laboratory on May 19, where students will get exposure to real forensic working environments and laboratory procedures.
