NID Admission Process

Admission to both B.Des and M.Des programmes is conducted through the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), which is held in two stages.

B.Des Admission

Candidates shortlisted from this round appear for the second stage, which includes a Studio Test, portfolio assessment, and personal interview. The M.Des entrance process also begins with the Design Aptitude Test, consisting of a Common Foundation Paper and a specialization paper. Shortlisted candidates then participate in a Studio Test, portfolio presentation, and interview to assess their design knowledge, conceptual thinking, and practical abilities.
