The Erasmus Mundus MIPDaL Scholarship 2026/28 opens the door to students who have a strong interest in law, technology, and innovation with a truly global learning experience. This European Union-supported joint master's program calls for applications from talented students from every part of the world for an advanced degree course in Intellectual Property Law and Data Law, MIPDaL.

This MIPDaL program represents an unrivaled journey through Germany, France, the UK, Estonia, and Spain with six of the highest-ranked European universities. A total of about 12 outstanding candidates will be selected annually to study at two international universities taught by top experts on the ever-changing nexus between law, data, and digital transformation. The uniqueness of this scholarship is also reflected in its holistic approach, as it provides, in addition to the full tuition fee waiver, a monthly allowance of €1,400 to cover all the travel, visa, and living costs. Consequently, financial constraints will not hold well-deserving scholars back from their aspirations. It consists of three specialization tracks: IT & Data Law, Creative Industries, and Industrial Property Law.

The nature of the Immersive Program allows for the first semester to be filled with basic modules that students can take at partner universities like the Technische Universität Dresden, Université de Strasbourg, and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid while advanced specializations and the master's thesis are reserved for the second semester. Candidates from any nationality are encouraged, but they must study in a country different from their country of origin.

Eligible candidates should possess the following: a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent, academic transcripts, statement of purpose, reference letters, and proof of language proficiency. Applications close on 15 January 2026, hence giving enough time to prepare for aspiring legal minds. In this age of digital innovation, combined with data and challenges to intellectual property, the Erasmus Mundus MIPDaL Scholarship offers one of the most excellent opportunities for creating critical knowledge and a global network of professionals in the field of law and technology.
