On 19th December, the Department of Physiotherapy, Jagannath University Bahadurgarh, organized a dynamic Kinesiology Taping Workshop in collaboration with Physio Karma and Zorrofit Kinesiology Tape. LPU School of Agriculture at Lovely Professional University turned the university campus into a floral heaven for the LPU Chrysanthemum Exhibition 2025. The exhibition showcased  breathtaking chrysanthemum varieties reared by the students of the school. Rajya Sabha MP Ms. Priyanka Chaturvedi graced the event as chief guest and inaugurated the spectacle during her special visit to LPU.

The exhibition opened in full splendour at the heart of LPU campus, featuring a dazzling canvas of colours, fragrances, and floral artistry. Budding agriculturists showed their remarkable skill, creativity, and scientific precision through chrysanthemum varieties of amazing beauty, depicting excellence in horticulture and practical training from LPU's agriculture programs.

Ms. Priyanka Chaturvedi, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), applauded the students for their enthusiasm. Her presence elevated the event, drawing attention to the role of the LPU agriculture department in horticulture education across India.

Seven cadets of NCC, AMET University, Chennai, took part in Victory Marathon 2025 on December 14 at Besant Nagar. Three more cadets represented the varsity in Navy Half Marathon 2025 at Adyar. The performances reflected the discipline and fitness achieved through NCC training.

First-year B.E. Marine Engineering student Cdt Bhargavan won first prize in the 7-km event at the Victory Marathon. This is a great achievement for the maritime education at AMET University, ECR campus, which has been known to train merchant navy officers and place them worldwide in reputed firms like Maersk and NYK, among others, on salaries starting from ₹ 10–25 LPA.

All the ten cadets expressed immense enthusiasm, which implies that AMET places considerable emphasis on integrated student development beyond traditional marine engineering and nautical science courses. The NCC programs in the university provide an avenue for developing the requisite physical fitness of a sea-going career.
