On 19th December, the Department of Physiotherapy, Jagannath University Bahadurgarh, organized a dynamic Kinesiology Taping Workshop in collaboration with Physio Karma and Zorrofit Kinesiology Tape. The event took place in the university auditorium, equipping students with the latest cutting-edge skills that will help them enhance their clinical practice both in sports and rehabilitation physiotherapy.

The workshop session was expertly conducted by Dr. M. Yasir Khan, Senior Sports Physiotherapist, PhysioKarma, who showed the participating students effective taping techniques for various muscle and joint conditions. This hands-on workshop proved to be effective as it enhanced students’ clinical skills while strengthening their practical understanding of modern physiotherapy applications.

Such a practical exposure bridged classroom theory with modern physiotherapy tools, thereby preparing students for high-demand roles in sports clinics, hospitals, and wellness centers across India. Such workshops go hand in hand with the growing need for skilled physiotherapists amid a rise in sports participation and injury awareness.

Dr. Khan highlighted that Kinesiology taping is a simple, effective, and evidence-based tool for conservative management in everyday practice. The University's faculty highly appreciated the collaboration for enhancing the preparedness of students in the competitive healthcare landscape of Haryana.

LPU School of Agriculture at Lovely Professional University turned the university campus into a floral heaven for the LPU Chrysanthemum Exhibition 2025. The exhibition showcased  breathtaking chrysanthemum varieties reared by the students of the school. Rajya Sabha MP Ms. Priyanka Chaturvedi graced the event as chief guest and inaugurated the spectacle during her special visit to LPU.

The exhibition opened in full splendour at the heart of LPU campus, featuring a dazzling canvas of colours, fragrances, and floral artistry. Budding agriculturists showed their remarkable skill, creativity, and scientific precision through chrysanthemum varieties of amazing beauty, depicting excellence in horticulture and practical training from LPU's agriculture programs.

Ms. Priyanka Chaturvedi, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), applauded the students for their enthusiasm. Her presence elevated the event, drawing attention to the role of the LPU agriculture department in horticulture education across India.

Events at LPU School of Agriculture, such as this LPU Chrysanthemum Exhibition 2025. bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. Precision farming, pest management, hybrid cultivation, and other important skills for Punjab's ₹10,000 Cr floriculture industry were displayed by students from programs such as BSc Agriculture and BSc Horticulture.

It was visited by people from Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and Amritsar. The flower exhibition in India was a promotion of student horticulture projects. Captured moments of radiant blooms alongside proud LPU students epitomize campus life at LPU and innovation in agriculture in India.

Seven cadets of NCC, AMET University, Chennai, took part in Victory Marathon 2025 on December 14 at Besant Nagar. Three more cadets represented the varsity in Navy Half Marathon 2025 at Adyar. The performances reflected the discipline and fitness achieved through NCC training.

First-year B.E. Marine Engineering student Cdt Bhargavan won first prize in the 7-km event at the Victory Marathon. This is a great achievement for the maritime education at AMET University, ECR campus, which has been known to train merchant navy officers and place them worldwide in reputed firms like Maersk and NYK, among others, on salaries starting from ₹ 10–25 LPA.

All the ten cadets expressed immense enthusiasm, which implies that AMET places considerable emphasis on integrated student development beyond traditional marine engineering and nautical science courses. The NCC programs in the university provide an avenue for developing the requisite physical fitness of a sea-going career.

AMET University is recognized as India's first Deemed-to-be-University exclusively focusing on maritime-related courses. The university has incorporated NCC along with the academic curriculum, offering B. Sc. Nautical Science and B.E. Marine Engineering. Students at AMET practice on ship simulators and are involved in strenuous activities like marathons so that they emerge better prepared for placements in prestigious organizations.
