GNA University has managed to hold a highly interactive motivational speech, called BELIEVE, with a famous inspirational speaker, leadership consultant, and life coach Sonu Sharma. The session brought fire in the hearts of students and made them strive to achieve success.

Sonu Sharma gave strong insights and experiences in life, and he demonstrated to the students how their future depends on belief and how it leads to success. His practical style resonated well with the audience and the session was interesting and effective.

As a means of appreciating the speaker because of his invaluable contributions, the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor of GNA University honoured him. This award indicated the interest of the university to introduce quality motivational programmes to students.

Pay attention to Practical Motivation.

Sharma used familiar anecdotes and practical tips to highlight the importance of self-belief to achieve personal and professional success. At the end of the session, students were inspired to make tangible actions to achieve their dreams and career aspirations.

The programme is an indication of the attempts by the GNA University to supplement academic learning with life skills development. These sessions make the students gain confidence in addition to their technical education.

The NSS Unit of BMS College of Engineering received the National Social Impact Award, given by the National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists (NIFAA) India and the NSS State Cell. The award is a recognition of their outstanding performance on the Samvedna -2 Blood Donation Campaign 2025.

The award was given by Padma Shri Dr. C. R. Chandrashekhar, along with Dr. Prathap Lingaiah, NSS State Officer, and Dr. Ashwin S. Shetty, National President of NIFAA. The award highlights Dr. Sujatha N.'s leadership of the NSS Unit.

Record-Breaking Samvedna-2 Campaign Success 

The award also recognizes the significant contribution of BMSCE to the Samvedna-2 Blood Donation Campaign 2025. The team organized 1,055 camps across Karnataka, and supported thousands through blood donation, and set new precedents of student-led service.

Dual Recognition by an International Organisation 

The NSS Unit was also awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the World Record of Excellence in England in its efforts on the biggest blood donation drive, Samvedna II 2025. These two awards highlight their humanitarian effect.

University Leadership Credits Team Effort The NSS Unit appreciated the constant support of the BMSCE management and the Principal. They provided advice to students to conduct effective community-service projects, which reached thousands across Karnataka.

Why This is important 

With more emphasis on placements and rankings in engineering colleges, BMSCE can be distinguished by its social responsibility. The success indicates that engineering students of Karnataka are able to balance between academic and community service.

The national status positions BMSCE as a model for NIRF institutions that are technical excellence and humanitarian service providers.

The Universal AI University had a visit from the team of the US-based NGO, Embers International. The NGO works for the empowerment of women who are victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, and other adverse situations. They also help the women's children. The NGO has an arm called Sahasee Embers Center located in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. 

The US-based team included Ms. Kathryn Paik (Program Director), Mr. Landon Eckhardt (Finance In-Charge), Ms. Karen Lacey, and Mr. Afzal Mansouri, who is a young victim of adverse situations and is currently being helped by the programs of Embers International. 

The team met with the university officials and students. The officials included Dr. Simon Mak, Vice Chancellor; Prof. Elora Basumatary, Dean; Quality & Adult Supervisor, GirlUp UAi; and student members of GirlUp UAi, the university's chapter of the United Nations Foundation's GirlUp initiative. 

The meeting discussed the potential for the students of the United Nations Foundation's initiative for the empowerment of girls and women, GirlUp UAi, the university's chapter, to volunteer with the children of the women being helped by the programs of Embers International. 

Moreover, as per the recent post, the university is keen to develop a relationship with the NGO based on compassion and service. This makes the university a better place to study and grow professionally as well as perceptually. 

SAGE University Indore observed International Women’s Day as SAGE Shakti 2026, a special program conducted by SAGE University’s Women Grievance Cell. This program acknowledged women’s contributions to their respective fields and emphasized the need to empower women.

The program was conducted under the guidance of SAGE University’s Chancellor Engineer Sanjeev Agrawal and led by Sakshi Bansal. This program reflects SAGE University’s motto: “Give to Gain,” helping others while building a better institution ourselves.
